Description
Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) seeks dedicated full-time and part-time remote radiologists to join our Community Division (TeleMIR). You will provide teleradiology services for evening and deep night shifts for BJC-affiliated hospitals across Illinois.
MIR is the radiology department for Washington University School of Medicine, with a growing Community Division. MIR performs ~2 million imaging procedures annually. It is a global leader in research, education, and radiologic innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret emergency and inpatient studies (primarily CT, X-ray/US and occasional MRI) overnight. - Communicate findings promptly to ordering providers. - Uphold high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Schedules & Compensation:
Full-Time Radiologist:
- Salary: $500,000–$550,000/year
- $40,000 Signing Bonus for candidates committing to an evening or deep night schedule
- Choice of Schedule:
- Evening 5:00 pm-1:00 AM CT; 1 week on and 1 week off
- Deep Nights 11:00 PM-7:00 AM CT; 1 week on 2 weeks off
- Generous Benefit Package:
- Dependent Tuition Assistance – up to 100% tuition and fees paid
- Parent/Caregiver Leave – 12 weeks paid leave; additional 12 weeks at 60% pay if eligible
Per Diem and/or Moonlighting opportunities available:
BJC HealthCare is a non-profit system that operates hospitals in Missouri and Illinois, including Barnes-Jewish Hospital and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. MIR provides remote imaging services for Illinois-based hospitals, Alton Memorial Hospital, Memorial Hospital Belleville, and Memorial Hospital Shiloh, all of which are known for high-quality community care.

Basic Qualifications
- ABR board certified or eligible - Eligible for Illinois and Missouri licensure - Proficient in emergency CT and routine inpatient imaging - Excellent communication skills - Teleradiology experience preferred but not required
